Why the blog?

I started this blog on account of my daughter going off to university last year and thought it would be a way for her to keep up with any cartoons I drew. However, she seemed to be back here most weekends along with the whole of what seemed a very long summer break so she was looking over my shoulder watching me draw most of them!!
The Blog title? When I was bored at this place I used to work at (most of the 8 hours) I would doodle on scraps of  paper...mostly cartoon people with three fingers. This bloke in my section would say, "Don't hands have FOUR fingers?" I'd mention various cartoon characters with three fingers but next day he'd ask the same stupid question !!!
